Dr. Ioana Mindruta

Dr. Ioana Mindruta is a primary neurologist with extensive experience gained in over 25 years of practice in neurology. She is a neurologist over-specialized in general epileptology and pre-surgical evaluation at the Epilepsy and Sleep Monitoring Unit, Clinical Neurophysiology Laboratory of the University Emergency Hospital Bucharest. She also has expertise in electrophysiology, namely in electroencephalography (EEG), electromyography (EMG) and evoked potentials (EP). Dr. Ioana Mîndruță is vice-president of the Romanian Society of Electrodiagnostic Clinical Neurophysiology (ASNER), member of the Steering Committee of the Romanian Neurological Society, coordinator of the National Programs of Rare Diseases and Pharmacoresistant Epilepsy and is since 2014 head of the Department of Neurology at UMF "Carol Davila" and also scientific researcher at the Faculty of Physics of the University of Bucharest.
