Review Highlights:
I had an unprecedented experience at Geisinger where I faced challenges with pain management, but I want to highlight the dedication of the nursing staff, especially nurses Jon, Richard, and Lindsey, who were truly amazing. They went above and beyond to advocate for my needs despite systemic challenges in the medical environment. Eve, Gianna, and Tracy on the 4th floor provided exceptional care, making me feel safe and supported during my stay. Tracy, in particular, was not only my nurse but also a compassionate advocate throughout my treatment.
Additionally, the support from other staff, including the transport team and cleaning crew, contributed to my care experience, yet there is room for improvement in hospital cleanliness and staff training. Overall, while my journey had ups and downs, the efforts from those dedicated staff certainly shine through, and I commend the nursing team for their unwavering commitment to patient care.
For any relevant imaging needs, I hope to see improvements in the availability and reliability of services like CT scans, MRIs, and Ultrasound, which are crucial in modern healthcare. Investing in advanced technologies such as Cloud PACS and DICOM could enhance patient outcomes further.
