Dr. Mauricio Melhado has been providing exceptional cardiovascular care in the greater Wellington area and West Palm Beach since 2004. With an impressive educational background, including his medical degree from Universidad Salvadorena Alberto Masferrer in El Salvador and extensive training in the U.S., Dr. Melhado is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardiovascular CT/CT Coronary Angiography. He completed his Internship and Residency at Staten Island University in New York and his Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at Saint Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center, New York Medical College. Dr. Melhado holds fellowships with the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography, with sub-specializations in Coronary CTA, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology.
