A private clinic for heart patients was established in Bucharest in 1991 by cardiologist Gabriel Tatu-Chitoiu. He just needed to help, that was all! The first steps in the direction of private healthcare were taken in 1997 with the establishment of the business Cardiomed, which grew steadily. The clinic's service offering has been expanded through partnerships with experts in the fields of diabetes, nutrition, and metabolic disorders; echocardiography (heart and vascular ultrasounds using color Doppler ultrasonography); and these other areas.
